On 8th October 2021, full planning permission was granted for the installation of renewable energy and fuel generation stations for a hydrogen processing plant powered by ground-mounted photovoltaic solar arrays.
CRE is now moving forward with its development of a 5MW solar farm and a 0.90MW electrolyser which will produce around 125,000 KG of green hydrogen per year.
